With the 2011/2012 school year fast approaching, Youth Enrichment Services’ is excited to begin a new year!
While having fun is important to us at Youth Enrichment Services’, so is your child’s education. Each day, your child will have the opportunity with guidance from our staff to do his/her homework. Parent feedback is crucial to a child’s education. If you would like to have your child work on a specific project or a specific subject, please communicate that information to our staff and we will do what we can to accommodate.

ASE Program dates
Sioux Falls’ ASE opens August 22nd
Brandon ASE opens August 22nd
Harrisburg’s ASE opens August 24th
Fees
Sioux Falls ASE program
Full-time per week: $40 ($35 for those who registered early)
Part-time per week: $28
Youth Enrichment Services offers a 10% multi-child discount. Tuition charges are due in advance or by 6:00 pm on Monday of each current week. All families are required to sign up for Tuition Express. Tuition Express is a family-friendly way to stay current on charges.
Transportation
All children attending the YES Afterschool Enrichment Program will be transported to a YES afterschool site from all Sioux Falls’ public schools. For the first two weeks of school, a staff will assist the children to get them on the right bus.
For an additional fee, families can choose where they would like their children to attend our program. Unless special arrangements are made, children will be transported to the following sites:

WHAT NOT TO BRING (YES is not responsible for lost or stolen items)
We ask that children not bring any electronic devices such as toys, handheld games etc. Items that your child does not want to lose should also remain at home.
Schedules
Schedules are due by the 20th of each month for the following month. Schedules can be filled out at the 14th Street Learning Center or www.youthenrichment.org. If your child(ren)’s schedule is consistent, one schedule may be filled out and used for the entire school year.
Extended Hours
The Extended Hours program provides licensed childcare for school age children, kindergarten through sixth grade on out of school days and most holiday breaks. Care is provided at the 14th St. Learning Center, Eastside Learning Center, YES Star Program, Brandon Elementary and Harrisburg’s Liberty Elementary. The cost for this service is $20 per day per child if you preregister or $27 on the day of care.
Vacation
Afterschool Enrichment families who are enrolled full-time will also accrue vacation hours each month. Vacation hours must be requested in advance unless used for illness. Families that are delinquent on their accounts will continue to accrue vacation hours but the hours may not be used until the account is current. See Parent Handbook for details.
YES will be closed for Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Please see Parent Handbook for more details.
