Our summer program features a safe and secure environment that will allow your child the freedom to relax, enjoy the summer, and be with their friends all while continuing to learn. Educational choices are balanced and allow them to have so much fun they won’t even know they are learning. Nutritional breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided daily. Weekly field trips are scheduled around the weekly themes. Swimming is available. Special opportunities are offered throughout the summer such as foreign language, karate, gymnastics, and roller skating. All of our activities are age appropriate so your child will feel comfortable and be able to have fun, learn and grow.

2011 Boys and Girls Club Dodge ball Tournament 6^th-12^th Graders

Who: All 6^th – 12^th grade boys and girls who would like to compete in the season’s dodge ball tournament. Your team will consist of 5 players, the team can consist of all guys, all girls, or a combination of both guys and girls.  We will have two divisions:  6^th-8^th grade, and 9^th-12^th grade.

 When: This tournament will be held on Saturday, March 26^th from 10am-3pm for 6^th-8^th grades, and will be held on Saturday, April 2^nd from 10am-3pm for 9^th-12^th graders.

Where: Tournament and league will be held at Eastside Learning Center.  Registration forms are due by Monday, March 21st by 6:00 PM. You can register on Facebook, or email jengland@youthenrichment.org.  Captains meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd at 6:30 PM at the Eastside Learning Center, 700 S Sneve Ave.  

Cost: $5.00 per team

Youth Enrichment Services to host their first duck race

 Sioux Falls, July 1, 2010:  YES is hosting “the Great YES Duck Race” to energize the lazy days of summer

on Saturday, July 31^st at Yankton Trails Park in partnership with Family Fest.  Prepare yourself for some excitement as the rubber ducks take a trip down the River, all trying to get to the finish line first!   Your lucky duck could win you $500 cash, and assortment of gift certificates, food  or a chance to win ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS!  Make sure to check out all of our prizes, all sure to be enjoyed by the whole family! 

Our children are our most valuable resource – and our future!  The children in the Sioux Falls community deserve the best programming and services available and YES provides them.  The proceeds from this special event will be used to support youth and families who receive care in YES programs.  All proceeds from our Duck Race will directly benefit the youth at YES who attend programs such as:

• Afterschool Enrichment
• Summer Programs
• Infant and Toddler Programs
• Preschool Programs
• Leaders in Training Program

Additionally, YES is exploring the potential of bringing a Boys and Girls Club program to our community, which would serve children and youth from twelve to 18; as you can see, we have many worthy programs for children of all ages underway and these good things continue to happen because we have friends – partners – like you, who give generously to our organization.

Sioux Falls Kids Events Activity Fair

Thursday, April 22nd 3- 6 p.m.

Locations: John Harris, JFK, Jefferson and Harvey Dunn

This activity fair is a community collaboration .  We will showcase many organizations in our community and be a great place for children and parents to learn what activities are available this summer and fall.  Organizations will have hands on
activities, highlight their programs and have registration information available.  This fair will be a great way for students to find their niche!
