Our Infants & Toddlers program offers children a fun, safe, nurturing atmosphere for discovery. The program is individualized to meet the needs of every child. Staff work with families to build upon on each child’s temperament, interests, culture, capabilities and learning styles. Following the developmentally appropriate Creative Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers, children’s daily routines include story time, music, and creative expression through art, dramatic play, large and fine motor development. Children are learning about themselves, expressing their independence and learning to communicate each day. Communication with parents is enhanced with monthly calendars and newsletters, parent-teacher conferences, family programs, and parent involvement in the classroom.
as a new mother i was sooo worried about taking my first child to daycare!!! I went to so many daycares and they weren’t clean, they didn’t pay very close attention to the children, and most of all you didn’t see joy, kindness, and heart in their employees!!! They just didn’t feel right!! But when i walked into River crossing I knew this was the place for my child and I would feel comfortable leaving my child in their care!! You can tell the employees love their jobs, its just not a paycheck. They smile with the kids!! They came up to me and wanted to know all about my child!!! They were sweet and kind and you know they would go out of their way to make your child feel comfortable!!! Most of all everything seemed to be under control, the kids and facility were clean, and most of all the kids at river crossing had smiles on their faces!!! If your still not sure just stand out in the parking lot and ask the parents of the children that attend river crossing and they will all agree river crossing gives their child quality care!!!!!
I have been very impressed with Amber. I love how thorough she is with us! Any concerns she has she always lets us know, we never guess. Her daily sheets are always very accurate and have been very useful for us. I think our daughter really enjoys her class. Her speech and use of sentences has increased dramatically over the last month or two. Amber does a great job with her.
